Although the administrators and moderators of UtopiaGuide will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of UtopiaGuide, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

This is a board dedicated to the discussion of topics relating to escorts and the commercial sex industry and is a mixed board, representing both the client and provider constituencies. The board is intended to be a balanced forum for discussion and interaction, where opinions of all parties are respected, but flaming and direct attacks on others is strongly discouraged. As such, and with the help of a few members, I have tried to compile a list of do's and don'ts:

Things you may not do. If you do your post will be edited or deleted. If the moderator is sufficiently provoked your posting privileges may be revoked.

1) To Providers and their Friends: Do not post yourself, or have others post on your behalf, information pertaining to the pursuit of your business. If you wish to advertise, there are various ways you can pay for advertising; contact service@utopiaguide.com.

2) E*mail has been turned off. E*mailing is neither supported nor permitted. Therefore, do not post E*mail addresses for back channel communication.

3) Pedophilia is a prohibited topic of discussion. No discussion of minors PERIOD.

4) No flame wars. Every one has opinions. Some will not agree with yours. Rational discussion is good. Gratuitous personal attacks are not.
How to Remain in Good Standing.

5) Be Courteous:
Do nots:
a. Do not pursue hidden / private agendas.
b. Avoid posting false information and especially disinformation.
c. Accusations / assertions – tell us what their basis is.
d. All are equal – no racial or ethnic slurs.

Do’s
e. Refrain from overuse of "insider comments" and "private winks and nods".
f. Try to be positive. There is an awful lot of fun to be had out there and this forum can help the effort.
g. Notwithstanding (f) above, if you have a bad experience, post it.

6) Think before you write.

a. If others are discourteous that is no excuse for you to be discourteous. Sometimes the Internet depersonalizes our communications to the point that we become careless about how we speak. Ask yourself this question:"would I say this in a room full of people, many of whom I don't know?"
b. Are you adding to the discussion or just making noise. E.G .
c. Do not bump threads. If you don't have anything constructive to add, leave it alone.

7) In a review and only in a review, posting of contact information is permitted.

8) Don’t know if a post is too controversial. E*mail management for an opinion.

The way things are:
9) Several of the forums have a "minimum post count" before you can start new threads. If you are new to the Board, you're just going to have to live with that. Try responding to other people's questions before asking your own.

10) In Search Of (ISO) belong in the ISO appropriate section.*

11) If you post a thread, and it gets deleted, i.e. disappears shortly after posting, it means we meant to delete it. Do not repost it.

12) Management reserves the right to make fun of stupid people; so if you're going to come here and be stupid, be forewarned that we are going to make fun of you.

13) Do not "bump" threads (especially your own).
