I don't know about that Steve. The zombies are rapidly approaching dawn of the dead remake speed as Shane looked like he was moving pretty brisk towards Rick. Also lets not forget about the battlion of undead that suddenly appeared at the farm as well as the 30 men looters only 5 miles away.

I've been watching this show from the beginning but I must admit that I wasn't all that impressed. While I love a good Zombie movie, my problem with this show was that I pretty much hated all the characters (even the kid, Carl, creeps me out). While I must admit that the show got a good grip on me when the kid/zombie walked out of the barn, it was Shane's downward spirial that kept things interesting. Killing off both Dale and Shane in consecutive weeks has left me pretty disappointed in what to expect down the road. I'll hang in for a while, but it clearly just put a hugh burden on it's back to keep me interested.

There is so much more they could do but I am sure that the budget limits what they can do. Put this show on HBO and maybe they could do more. They should have taken that tank in Atlanta!

In the book, he doesn't do anything w/ the tank either. And that was okay b/c 1) perhaps he had no idea how to operate it, 2) he could have maybe tried to fire some rounds from the 105 mm at the crowd, but what would be the point - he just came out of a coma, has no idea what's going on and now has to try and figure out how to fire a M1A Abrams tank gun but 3) if he couldn't figure an escape - didn't hear from the kid over the radio, firing the 50 cal or the 7.62 mounted guns would probably be the most likely thing he would try (IMHO). Personally, I would've tried to figure how to move the tank to mow them down and get to a safer location.

EXACTLY Ereuben. Get it running and just roll out of town to safety. Abrahams tanks are fast so he would easily be able to move quickly to safety. He didn't even try.

What is so hard about getting into a truck and running these zombies over and then backing up over their heads. They are at this farm for months and they didn't plan shit. In the last episode I saw them checking a fence but what good is it if it doesn't surround the property. Then at that compound which was fully fenced in, all they had to do was kill a few more zombies and they had that whole area and the police station for themselves. I'm sure the police station had plenty of weapons. And why fill gas cans when you can take the whole truck. Then you have the redneck driving a motorcycle, absolutely ridiculous. These people deserve to die. I have a feeling the rednecks brother is with the other group.

I enjoyed the show last night. A couple of things ... Exiled is right about the lack of preparation. They probably could have fenced in that entire area a little better. You would have thought that they had scrounged up more ammo/gasoline.

Lori's reaction when Rick told her about Shane was worthy of a bitch slapping. What a filthy bitch she is. She is now the last broad there I would bang.

Loved the hooded person who saved Andrea and had the two armless zombies on leashes! Priceless! Would love to know why she is walking around the woods in the middle of nowhere.

They all are acting a little stupid towards Rick. Hershel seems to be the only one who gets it.

I guess they are going to hit up that prison. If I had to guess .... prisons are probably self sufficient. There "should be" tons of food and ammo, its own power station and a fresh water well. They design most prisons to be self sufficient.

How can they screw this up??? Hard to tell.

I am really looking forward to next season.

Agreed. Loved the democracy line and everyone's reaction. The zombies on a leash character is hard corp and has me amped for the next season. The prison may not be a good place for the ladies unless it was a women's prison.

I liked last nights episode too, I perfer the shows that are high on action over the ones high on acting. The funny thing I found about the episode was that the two people they killed off last night, I don't remember seeing.

After watching the show last night I checked out the comic book on the internet and got what could be a preview for things to come. The hooded character is a liar, oops I mean a lawyer, from Atlanta, who took fencing lessons as a youngster. As for the two zombies one was her boyfriend and the other was his best friend. She removed their arms and lower jaws and for some reason they are now sedate. She might be a little crazy but she will join the group.

In the talk show the producer or director had said that Jimmy was supposed to get killed in the field instead of Dale. Too bad. I think the show needs Dale.

I love the show, cant wait for season three! I have read the comics and although they have deviated from then I like the differences. I would like to see loris baby still born and then turn into a walker so Rick has to kill it but not before it bites the slut lori and Carl then Rick has to kill them both

I loved the last episode, it showed Rick growing a pair "this isn't a democracy anymore" I love that line!

I saw a commercial. Looks like they are going to show previews and have that talk show this weekend! It is on AMC so keep your eyes open and post any info. I think it might be a marathon thing where they show a whole bunch of episodes to help everyone get caught up.
