Stream of Pure Care

I recently visited Stream of Pure Care (I'll call them 'SPC') at 30 West 37th Street (bet. 5th Ave. & 6th Ave.; 2nd floor) in Manhattan. Very nice experience; Great facilities, soothing atmosphere and services, attractive and attentive staff, and reasonably priced.

For those of you familiar with the area, SPC is located basically right next door to Green Qi Gong Tui Na (near Choi's Barbershop, NY Health Spa, and Zhong's). SPC has neon lights, broad 2nd story windows and poster visible from the street, and it looks like (because it is) the kind of place you could even take a girlfriend if you were so inclined.

Generally speaking, this place seems to be trying to match the experience of NY Health Spa, across the street. Compared to NY Health, SPC seems to be:
- Much more conspicuous outside, but less traffic inside.
- Newer construction but not as highly polished (although way nicer than most AMPs).
- Extremely spacious facilities and more quiet overall.
- Much more lavish private facilities & private changing and storage.
- More comfortable atmosphere for female guests.
- Fewer # of attendants. Less formal attendants but more dedicated and flexible.
- Wider variety of 'legit' menu (aroma therapy, scented baths, etc)
- More reasonable price.
In addition, though YMMV, I also found SPC to be:
- Wider variety of 'extras' (UTC roaming, etc).
- Equally graceful handling of money (compared w/NY Health).
- Possibly more generous with time.

Mama-san/Greeter couldn't speak English, but she was friendly/polite and Relaxation Assistant ('RA') quickly showed up to take over. The RA was Jackie (Sayumi), a stunningly beautiful late-20's (?) woman, apparently half Japanese half Korean, although much stronger on the Korean side than Japanese. I didn't see the others, but didn't need to. (Supposedly between 2-5 RA's are available depending on traffic). Jackie has wonderful hair and skin, tight body, perky breasts (nice nipples too) and nice ass, beautiful face, wide smile and straight teeth, nice makeup, attractively dressed, very nice English, and smelled perfect.

Jackie led by the hand immediately to the private room which, like the rest of the facilities, was extremely large, and very clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. While the main entry is large but somewhat non-descript, I cannot emphasize enough the size, privacy and luxury of the individual room. The room felt fresh, warm, and comfortably lit, had a very long massage table in a clean/thin carpeted area, and a table shower and a very large bath next to that in a stone-floored drainage area. Room for changing clothes, hanging clothes (private in-room closet), table shower, bath, dry off, massage, cleanup, payment, etc. was vast... no tripping over each other for anything. On one wall, there was a nice large mirror and various amenities for cleanup. Near these were several other amenities for aromatherapy, scented baths, candles, things like this.

The bathroom was on the opposite side of the facility, so even though it's nice to be lead by the hand by the RA for a nice walk, I recommend using the toilet -before- heading to your room. Regardless, I checked the clock starting when I got back, and I was very pleased to see the generous numbers in my calculations later...

Jackie provided a very long, attentive table shower. I've had many table showers and this was twice as long as the longest I've ever had, and much more complete and vigorous than any I've had as well. It was a true scrubdown and wet massage right there on the table (including some facial massage both during shower and at massage table). Jackie asked politely before providing more intimate washing, and spent plenty of time there without overdoing the excitement. She dried me off thoroughly after, but I recommend caution while exiting the shower area as the slippers get extra slippery when wet.

Jackie asked hard, medium or soft, then provided the hard massage requested. When I pointed out some particularly knotted up areas, she used peppermint oil there, while using some other very silky/smooth scented oils elsewhere. The use of scented oils was extremely pleasurable, although a potential concern for anyone needing to cover their tracks back to work or spouse.

Jackie's hands are thin with soft skin, but very strong. She provided strong pressure where requested, and light whisps (fingertips, hair, breath and lips, even UTC roaming) at just the right times and places.

During the most intense massage, Jackie provides a quick moving and very strong/deep finger/thumb pressure massage, rather than slow/broad elbow/knee massage. At first, this is not as sensual as some of the other slower moving, skin on skin techniques, but soon you realize it's her hard massage technique and it's seriously getting the job done. In fact, she was so determined in her hard massage, at one point I had to motion for her to go lighter.

Eventually Jackie does slow down and goes very, very sensual, which required no prompting, nor discussion of money, although I tipped well. In fact, as she was doing some hand work on my lower front (ahem) she actually pulled up her top and bra, and started playing with her very delightful nipples! This left traces of peppermint oil, which tastes as good as it smells, a very nice holiday treat indeed!

Jackie's massage was excellent overall, and her accupressure on the feet and legs is unmatched. It hurt a little at first, but felt so great later. I have never left feeling lighter in my step and more energized overall.

Total cost was $70 for 1 hour, although when I checked my watch, I saw I had received 1hr 20mins time, not even including the bathroom trip! This was definitely the most generous I have ever seen with time. Never for a moment did Jackie look at the clock nor pressure me to hurry in any way.

I paid the base $70 plus a $40 tip for the extra time, personal attention and atmosphere provided by Jackie. Jackie merely glanced at it, only a rough count of the money, and showed nothing but smiles and thanks. She also handed me a few chocolates as I prepared to head out, which of course go great with peppermint!

This guy went today to Stream of pure body care. No "jackie" there. The Korean guy tried too give me the old lady that works there(fortunately the customer didnt pay till he knew who was working on him). Went to go and then the old lady said wait ...One other "girl " was working, Mina. Very short petite with a gut (kids?) 30's. Very little english.
The rooms are huge and should be the model for every spa. Each had table shower and bathroom. Nice. Mina does a thorough table shower on the customer. Go to table. She then strips down and showers herself. Hmmm..ok. Then proceeds to do the massage in the nude. Ok thats a good start! Ok massage, but too short about 20 min. Was expecting a NY health quality hour massage or close. Then flip and rushed (u cum!) hj. Shes naked, but seemed pretty angry. And although she was butt naked, it was apparent that she was not open to any roaming etc. This attitude and rushed hj really cancelled out the nudity. He Tipped 40...U give 60!!. No, I dont think so. Ok ok next time.

Jackie/Sayumi was a real star. If she is taking a break or something, I don't know what the experience would be like. Sounds pretty bad (getting bad attitude, shorted on time, and pressured on tip). As someone who was going to try the other RA's shortly, I am particularly sorry to hear this.

One thing that was strange, when I had to go to the bathroom, they led me all the way across the facility... a long walk... You say they have bathrooms in each massage room? I saw a closed door next to the bathtub in the wet-area of the massage room...could that be it? If so, why did they make me take the long walk? (Still doing construction maybe?) My table-shower+masssage was 1hr 20mins (at a 1hr price), so in my case, it wasn't to short me time. Strange.

I agree about the English skills there. Jackie's was great (in fact she took pride in it) but mama-san couldn't speak a word. I didn't get to meet anyone else (male owner or female RA's) although Jackie did say there were others.

This not-so-hot RA w/rob attitude plus the LE info has me a bit surprised and disappointed. I was hoping they'd become my new favorite (certainly takes more than one experience), but it sounds like they're headed for trouble.

If you're just generalizing her overall ROB attitude, and she didnt actually mention my tip, that's fine... Word to the wise though, you should generally NOT mention your UG readings (or even your own past tips) when going to any of these places... the RA will assume the worst about you (creepo or LE) and then whatever tip was paid in the past is not enough because -this- RA's services were even 'better' than the services provided earlier. Being aware of the reviews will also cause the RA to check here and then become defensive about the reviews, etc.

I didn't meet the man here, but the old lady at Stream was definitely Korean. Maybe the old lady I met was a backup masseuse, not the mama-san?

The mama-san, about 50, skinny, about 5', and the guy, in his forties, are Chinese. They speak mandarin. It is possible that these two can also speak Korean since there is part of China that borders with North Korea.

hr is available, however they are very cautious about fs. in fact, as of late the downstairs door is always open, unline when it was run by the previous management.

if you decide for the full bath tub experience, make sure the amp girl rinses the tub completely- last time i was there i had to pass on it because it was grimy.

Went yesterday after reading WAKA's review - I'm not a frequent AMP'er - I much prefer a Latina/European massage - but this was a fabulous experience...

Was led to room as described by mamasan - a few minutes later I was joined by a young (late 20's?) very cute girl - short with a very nice body - didn't get her name (sorry, guys)...

Table shower was excellent and very thorough - massage itself was not great but not rushed either - on the flip she tapped my shoulder to open my eyes, and gave me the 'jerking off' motion to inquire if I wanted a HR. I said yes, and without hesitation she gave an above average but not spectacular hand release - about 2 minutes in she took down her top and roaming was allowed and encouraged everywhere - she didn't flinch when I pulled her underwear off and roamed down there, either. After release she brought me back to the table shower to clean me off. I tipped $40 and she gave me a look and asked for more - I told her $40 was a nice tip and she smiled and didn't press it.

Definitely the best AMP experience I have ever had (although my experience has been limited in this area)

Yes, there was HR and UTC roaming (and oral access to her nipples) without any need for prompting or haggling.

I meant "the guy in the story" tipped 40 and she wanted 60. RULE#! NEVER MENTION UG!!! I asked for Jackie as if my friend told me. This is the same mamasan that was here year ago when they first opened. Been there before. All Korean. But who knows, Im not asian myself. When you post a girls name on this forum, you can immediately expect 1000 lurkers to call the place and ask for her, whether they are going to visit or not. They were all booked up, but ONE girl was working evening. Not Jackie.

Alright, after reading this thread and my love of amps, I had to hit this spot. OBviously went looking for Jackie but didn't ask for her by name. I saw three providers and not one fit her description. I picked a girl and I believe her name was Sasha. She was probably about 5'3 115 and a 6 in looks. Took me to their private rooms which I must say is an impressive room. It has a massage table, table shower and bathtub in it. Stripped down and was led to the table shower (declined the bath). She gave me a good scrubdown in all the right places and then toweled me dry. Just once, when they are toweling your legs dry, I wish they would orally take care of my raging member pointing in front of them especially without me asking them. I would have a bbbjcim in 2 seconds. Anyway, once dried, led me to the table shower and asked for type of massage. Since I have alot of meat on me, I always ask for hard. She then proceeded to give me a very good massage that was NY Health quality. Once she gave me an enjoyable massage the rest was gravy. Time for the bonus round. She dims the light and proceeds to administer the light stroking of the back and the stroking of the member while still face down. Upon the stiffening, she says the standard turn ova. ONce again, I wish right upon the flip, she just engulfs me whole without a word but that never happens. Anyway, she gives the standard HR and cleans me up afterwards with another mini tableshower. That was quite pleasant. Toweled me dry and then pseudo dressed me. Damage was 70+40 and was out the door. This one is a tough call. I probably still take NY HEalth because of the wet and dry sauna rooms and the shower facility that is available after the massage. You could really wash the oil off your body and then they have gel, q-tips and other spa amenities that is available to you afterwards. BUT this place is a close second. 10 cheaper house fee and got a quality massage. You can't go wrong with either for a R n T amp.

The rooms are great. But the massage therapy is no where near consistent as NY health. But roaming is avail. I find myself feeling better after the sessions at NY health.

Well I've only tried one girl so far at Stream as she was pretty good. My fav definitely is NY Health for amp massage. I'll hit this place again at the end of the week and post another review. Kirk, any new girls at NY HEalth you recommend. A couple of girls I used to use are gone..Candy and Sarah. I don't know is Bunnie/Bonnie and Tina are still there? I'm hitting these other amps seeing if extras are on the menu.

had a session with Lillie yesterday, place as previously described, all lillie kept saying is " you take care of me", a usual buz kill, i did convince her to get 2 cups, for a tip of 50.00. she wanted more but told her thats all she would get, the release was very mechanical and she was staring at the wall while she was doing the act, plus she refused to show any skin, so all in all, a good massage but i doubt that i would repeat, seemed pretty quiet when i visted, around 4:00 pm

WW, this was the best review I've seen in a long, long time. Thanks for all the useful info and best of all, the details.

I really have to reiterate for all the lurkers and posters who read a positive review though, DON'T ASK FOR GIRLS BY NAME! If you really MUST have the specific girl the reviewer talked about, and you can act like a regular, then maybe just ask who is working. But don't ask "Is X there," because all it does is get the girl in trouble or fired, and piss off the mamasan because she doesn't know WTF is going on. Also, it makes you look like a feeb. Not to mention that if you look at everything the place has to offer each time you go instead of just asking for someone specific, you may find someone even better.

I myself will have to check this place out when I get back from xmas vacation. Sounds like a positively-slanted mixed bag, depending. And it's $10 cheaper than my regular AMP, though ya really can't beat that one for closeness (2 blocks away...)

I decided to check out this place last week. I showed up around 7 pm on a weeknight after calling first. The place is as described, on the 2nd floor.
I was greeted by the mamsan who escorted me through an empty reception/waiting area to one of the rooms. She asked me, "first time?" Usually (if I haven't been to a particular AMP before) I'll say that I haven't been to this place, but to many others. But her english was clearly so limited she wouldn't have grasped the subtlety.
The room was by far the nicest I've seen at an AMP -- very large, with a tiled bathing area (table & tub) a closet and carpeted massage area. I really liked the private aspect of it -- I always feel like a bit of an idiot when I'm being led around by the hand after table shower at other places.
When I was done changing, an older (40-ish) woman appeared, and with sign language directed me to the table shower. She had even less english than the mamasan, and had the classic "table shower lady" look. She gave an excellent table shower, however, with plenty of soap. Not particularly erotic, however.
She then dried me off and led me by the hand over to the massage table. At this point, I expected her to leave -- but she didn't.
So I figured, I'm in for the $70 house fee, let's just see what happens.
She proceded to give me one of the best massages I've had in a while. No fancy moves or standing on my back - but she used her thumbs and really hit the pressure points. She had me roll onto my back, and continued an entirely legitimate-seeming massage - except for the small towel over the *****s that she kept moving around but never quite pushing out of the way.
So now I'm convinced that there'd be no relief -- and, truth be told, she was nothing much to look at so I wasn't too bothered. But then she asked "massage here?" and I grinned and said ok. So she provided manual relief, but with about as much erotic content as when she was massaging my shoulder. Her technique was excellent however, I gotta admit it, and she had me pop in no time -- I was pretty surprised, since with most providers there needs to be a lot of build up, nudity, roaming, etc for HR to succeed.
Anyway, she cleaned me up afterwards, and continued the massage. I was there for about 70 minutes -- tipped her $40 for which she was very grateful. On the way out, noticed a friendly, much younger Korean girl with long reddish hair on the couch -- but the place was pretty quiet.
I plan to give the place another try. Maybe when I walked in I gave off a wierd vibe.

After reading this thread, I decided to go last night. Wacka's description of the place is right on. Huge clean room.

I had Mimi, or so it sounded. Her English was bad and she giggled at eveything I asked. (Apparently the whirlpool requires a $100 door fee, not the standard $70.)

The session was pretty standard. Towards the end, she pulled up her top and pulled down her bra revealing nice small tits with firm nipples.

As for time, I was out in well under an hour.

For $130 total, it is a good deal but I prefer the bbbj/fs at Nu Look (selected providers only).

I guess alot of the girls are in the same range. I haven't seen JAckie yet. Anyway, we went to one of those nice rooms with the standard equipment...massage table, table shower and whirlpool. OPted for the tableshower and was given a standard one. Nothing special. Then off to the massage table and was given a decent but nothing special massage for 20 minutes and then she asked for the flip. Gave a typical rub. Top came off upon request and the body was about a 6. After the pop, came the cleanup with tissue paper. That sucked. She then proceeded to give me a 15 minute frontal massage. I took another mini table shower before I left. Definitely a downer after my first experience there. That's the kind of experience I would be happy with from a hotter girl. But that's par for the course for an amp experience. Total damage was 70+40. After this experience, I might go for Emotions next time. same looks, better quality massage - full hour- and 60 door fee. But I'll probably try another girl to see how it goes before I stop seeing them. MAybe that young girl Firecracker saw will do the trick.
