I reaally dont want to keep this thread alive but ....As I was on a very boring conference call stumbled across this:

    http://community.webshots.com/user/kylesmmmmmm

Felt compelled to post as the pics look real familiar.

I am sure we can find some budding Jim Rockford to find out who the girl really is....

    you are SO wrong.

The word by means who recorded(sings) the song, not who wrote it.

You take things too literal sometimes.

OK Let's Go Off The Deep End

Slinkybender, my definition isn't that a song is "by" who wrote it.

My initial point was only that it's ignorant to think "Cum On Feel the Noize" is a Quiet Riot song. Just as it would be ignorant to think "Satisfaction" is a Britney song, etc. etc. etc.

    Don't worry, HH.

    It isn't really music.

    Wow This Is Bizarre

From the part of the Millenium List devoted to recipients of MBEs ("Member of the British Empire"):

Neville John (Noddy) Holder, Singer. For services to music. (London, NW1)

Did they ever get to "Teaze Me Pleaze Me", or did they break up?

Look, I love (or I guess that should be "luv") Slade, too. But if that band staked the rest of their career on Slade covers . . . .

I had no idea. I guess that's because I've never heard any other song they did. Did they have any success after "Mental Health" or was that their one glorious defining moment?
