I'm reading conflicting reports on the St. Mark's Hotel. Some say it's a dirty dive, and other say it's clean. Their website says the rooms are newly renovated. Has anybody been there recently (like, within the last year or so) that can report? Yeah, I know the rooms are spartan, and the place doesn't exactly scream "high class". Neither does the Liberty, but aside from the remote location, I find it a perfectly acceptable hotel for a few hours of adult fun.

    Thanks in advance.

    Gross.

For the record, I think all the rooms at the Liberty now have private in-room bathrooms.

What do you all do about a place if the girl says "any 4-star or better hotel will do?"

there are outcall girls i'd like to try...but adding $$+ on top of her fee...aint gonna happen...

The ground floor rooms in the Liberty are huge, all have a bathtub pseudo jacuzzi, LCD TVs and the one I was in had a king size bed. Extra fee for the ground floor rooms, I recall it was $15.00 .All rooms now have bathrooms, are at least every room I've been in the last 3 years.

Liberty's like a palace in each room, with mirrored ceilings. The rooms are just small and the bathroom's in the hall.

HoJo did not have a short stay rate. Regular rate was 112. The provider led me to the Airway Inn by Laguardia which had a 61 short stay rate.

Of course, if he was on a fishing trip and was in charge of keeping all the hooks prepared, he would be the Master Baiter.

Curious, that sounds like the old Imus Wilford Brimley bits.

There's the Westway near LaGuardia on the Grand Central service road.

I posted a thread once called "Queens shortstay list" which I copped from the Queens Tribune, IIRC.

What would he be if he was in charge of keeping the Thanksgiving turkey moist while it cooks?
