Provided the cam isn's some sort of LE nastiness, my sentiment is that if you get off on watching overweight, middle aged bald dudes like me banging Korean whores on my lunchhour, hey - go for it. Fuck it - I dont plan on running for Governor any time soon anyway...

If you guys are worried that recorded material is being sold, i would stop worrying about THAT immediately.

For all my attempts to cover the camera up, I'm sure that if you get the old Paradise Club security tapes you could see me in all sorts of contexts.

Years ago I visited a brothel on the UWS. It was in a two-level apartment. I was escorted into the living room area, and while I was waiting for my "date," I noticed that there were security cameras positioned around the apartment. It totally creeped me out. At that point, though, I figured I was screwed already. If there was a security cam recording being made, I was already on it. I did check in the bedroom to make sure it wasn't wired with a cam, though, just to be sure.

If a client, or a provider, gets a bad vibe, I say bail out. It's not as if there is much opportunity to carefully case the place or, for that matter, to more fully interview the person who will soon be groping your nether regions with their (hopefully clean) fingers.

I know firsthand that Joanne (and her aliases) is trustworthy and secure, among her many positive attributes. For the life of me, I can't explain why she wouldn't do what it takes to make lukin4luv feel secure. Over what may have been a misunderstanding (language barriers can be subtle), there emerged a mutual distrust, and both parties arrived at the best conclusion. I'm sure the "time of the month" was the politest way she had to say she's changed her mind and you should leave now.

I would not stop seeing her, myself, but I think lukin4luv did the right thing; better safe than sorry.

If you get a bad vibe, it's always safer to high tail it.

I am usually not paranoid about the cams, if I am its about LE. But for some reason, this one just caught my eye, and as soon as I asked her to turn the lid down of the laptop, she changed her story to ..its that time of the month and she cant do anything...I was like then why the fuck did you answer to phone and setup the appoinment! in my opinion if something wasn't going on in there, then she would have agreed to turn the lid down of the laptop and continued, its just like when you go to jerrys or other places they have an LE check at the door and you must comply if you want the service....same goes for this situation, if she wanted me to pay for her service, then she must comply with my requests (ofcourse as long as its not way unreasonable), but whatever, I am glad I left. Had a really great time at Jerrys.

I don't ever remember being paranoid when visiting one of these places. I figured the girls should be more paranoid then me.

    yes...

yes, i was not comfortable first of all, and second I know of some sites that have hidden cam videos (massages, cybercafe, and incall locations ) from all over the world, so you never know few years from now where your video will end up....when you go to porn sites they always have ads on the side of sample videos, and yours could be one of them. You just never know.

    "sweep the room...nonlinear junction detector"

Same here and this one came up clean. I completely understand wanting to be careful, but I know these ladies well and they have been reviewed very well by others.

Paranoid pervs like me sweep the room at 900 MHz with a nonlinear junction detector looking for harmonics in the signal reflection.

I also believe that it's probably not a sting or a questionable attempt at a side business for voyuerism.

But that's really besides the point. The guy just didn't feel comfortable having a turned-on laptop (which may or may not have video recording capabilities) directly facing him when he's doing the deed.

I believe that his request is no different from a monger asking the provider to dim down the lights, pull down the window shades, turn down whatever music that's being played (indeed, we've had plenty of mongers complain about the music played at AMPs) or asking whatever it is to make him feel less anxious and more comfortable.

Concededly, he could've put something to cover the laptop or simply turn it around so it's not facing him. But whether justified or not, he simply exercised his right to get the fuck out and in doing so, he spared himself the trouble of trying to get off when it's obvious that he'll be too worried to do so.

    *squeak!*

I think a sting would probably have a camera hidden a little better than an open laptop.

Me too, man. Never know when one of these providers might have a kinky boyfriend who convinces her to leave the cam on her laptop on.
