New Law for Landlords

    I was under the understanding that the law was thrown out. The argument being that if prisons can't control the drug trade within their walls how can landlords control whats going on. Can anyone shine some light, thanks.

    This isn't new. It's been Real Property Law Section 231 for quite a while. It's just that Loius Vuitton sued a Canal St landlord and got a good ruling recently.

    Watching the news last week I noticed something about a new law for landlords in the city. In an effort to minimize the knock-off businesses landlords, as well as the tenants, will be held accountable for any illegal business operating on their property. I would think this will roll over into the massage world as well. Any thoughts on the matter?
