I don't view what I do as gamesmanship.
I view what I do as the opposite of gamesmanship.
Most of the replies have been oriented around strategizing your way into a SDL type relationship (for as little money as possible).
There was also some criticism of L101's proceding a bit aimlessly.
I think aimless proceding is exactly what his scenario needs.
If I were L101, I'd try to decide what outcomes would be unacceptable and then go with the flow, only strongly inserting my will when I felt things were heading towards one of these unacceptable outcomes.
Life's already too complicated without a bunch of gamesmanship.
would have been telling the truth!
OK, OK, jl. Since apparently nobody else is gonna do it, I will.
M O U S EEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Some strippers have red plate specials.
I even know one stripper who sweetly whispers in your ear "I'll be yours, Midol night long."
Oh, that was the question. Try Wild West in Kabukicho or Roaring 20s in Roppongi; replace bens with ichi ma'en notes.
Re: What time of the month is best?
The best time of the month is that time of the month.
Think about it. How could she charge you all that much when she is cramping and doubled over in pain?
The bloated, emotional wrecks are often the best value.
Keep the money in your wallet; don't wave it around. Put a few bens in the front and back and/or displaced a bit to one side from the other bills; the idea is to be able to pull out a ben without appearing to be selecting at all. Fill in smaller bills to make it look like a thick wad of money. Pay for things only with the bens. Tip the cocktail waitresses generously. Don't appear to be anxious or overly concerned about getting your change (they will probably have to go get change when you buy a drink with a 100). Act bored or at least very relaxed, not nervous, excited or too enthusiastic....but friendly and reasonably alert. Don't talk about how much money you have with you, but if one of the dancers comments on it, you might say that you are celebrating a good day in the casino or collecting a big insurance settlement or winning a suit against your old employer or something like that.
Well, as you can see, I haven't pursued it past the idle speculation stage, but the idea is the same whenever the critical time is.
All this makes me want to go try some experiments to see what I can do flashing a few hundred around a club. The question is, what club.
Except rents don't come overdue until the middle of the month.
What time of the month is best?
For reasons such as those I describe above, I have often wondered/speculated whether or not it might be easier to get dates with dancers or favorable prices from regular providers near the end of the month when rents and other bills are due. I never tried to experiment or track it enough to test the idea though.
If there ever was such an effect, it is probably much reduced now because in the age of computer billing and so forth, bill due dates are pretty well continuously staggered through the month and not all piled up at the end of each month the way they once were. Rents may be one of the few things left that are mostly on an end of the month cycle.
Booze? Yeah, these days I try to minimize the amount of drinking that both I and the lady do in commercial sex encounters.
Recently, a brand-new stripper (in the biz for about a month) stood me up (that rarely happens), and I'm sure this was precisely the reason why.
Crossed in editing, obviously.
I may apply a lot more moral lubricant than you do.
In my case, they usually start weeping hysterically when I take my clothes off.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: A couple of comments
As per my previous post, I think what you say is generally true, but a few times (3 at least) I was able to get a date with a dancer who did not ordinarily see customers outside the club, who probably had never done so before, in fact. Moreover, I think they were willing to go with me precisely because they knew I would soon after disappear from the local scene. These were all cases in which the dancer considered herself to be in a financial crisis and badly needed to raise some cash fast due to some unusual situation/emergency and thus was willing to "break her own rules" on a one-time-only necessity basis (in her mind, at least). Situations like having been out with the flu for a couple of weeks and the rent or car payment due soon sort of stuff. Big car repair bill to be paid. Etc.
Fwiiw, these "dates" were fun in a way because the dancer's inexperience meant no effective "mask"/void/emotional-separation but, for the same reason, they were not so great in others. They tended to want a lot of money for not very skillful or practised service. And in one unpleasantly memorable case she could not go through with it in the end...got as far as taking her clothes off and then started weeping hysterically (and no it was not when I took mine off!).
Hey, jl, have you seen the new "Classic Stripper Chit-Chat" section under UG Diversions?... your contributions could make for some very interesting reading, I'm sure!
