Hey, the detectives might be big fans of law-inspired TV dramas, and looking to apply what they've learned. Like watching "The Daily Show" for news.
I'm still trying to figure this line of reasoning out.
If they had said the sperm was found in the victim's ass, Vermeer could have played the husband.
They should'a given JL a cameo appearance in this episode.

The investigation is further complicated when it's revealed the killer entered both apartments from outside windows, leading the detectives to suspect the crimes could also be tied to Tessa's corporate work.
