It ain't over till its over. From Monday's Jersey Journal: Prostitutes made house calls UNION CITY — A service that allegedly offered prostitutes delivered right to your door was broken up with 28 arrests by city police, authorities said. According to police, members of the prostitution ring brazenly handed out cards to passers-by on Bergenline Avenue advertising the service. Police began their investigation simply by taking one of the cards, calling the number and asking for a prostitute, who was arrested when she showed up, police said. On several occasions, police calling the service overheard background conversations involving other customers asking for prostitutes to be sent to their homes. Police, overhearing the addresses, sent undercover female officers instead and arrested the men, authorities said. Also arrested were women allegedly working as prostitutes out of homes on 38th Street and Kennedy Boulevard, 15th Street near Summit Avenue and 45th Street near Cottage Street, police said.
