Had a dance from Vanessa last Monday. I was off from work and decided to make a stop at Ragtime to see whats going on, especially since after the original owner passed away. Very friendly bar-maid who I have seen dance once before there. She was Brazilian also and so was every girl there. About 3 dancers. All decent looking. Got a dance from Vanessa, I was expecting some mileage. Since the place was dead and and didnt see any owners or any managers around, I was expecting atleast a rub&tug. But nothing, just a boring lapdance in the one of the back booths. I did notice a BIG SIGN saying "VIDEO SURVELLANCE WATCHING". And that put a big damper on everything. From previous posts, I thought Ragtime was the place to be for afternoon fun, but from what I had, NO WAY!!!!

Does she accomplish this in the regular booths, or is there another spot?

Went yesterday to check it out. LD with Vanessa. Booth open and no more than nipple play and heavy rubbing.

Been to Ragtime only a couple times, and it was during the day on a Saturday, about 2 yrs ago.

Not many girls dancing when I went, but they were all Brazilian, and also the bar-maids, who were also Brazilian babes, very friendly also.

But I felt kind of uncomfortable, since there wasnt many people there, and there were 4 or 5 guys huddled at the front corner of the bar, all seemed to be management or owner's of the place and conducting all kinds of negotiating and whispering. I wasnt tempted enough for a lap dance, but I didnt even see a room with private dancing, am I missing something?

Again, that was about 2 yrs ago.

But if Ragtime is ran by different management now, and whoever this Lucy lady is, sounds like it can be a good time. Anymore info about Ragtime recently, would be appreciated!

The mistake they make is going home...most Bs tend to be very family oriented, but any that are undocumented I always tell that once they are here stay until ready to go back for good. I miss Showoffs

    Ragtime

Wowm, haven't heard much about Ragtime for some time now. Maybe i'll re-check this place out. Last time i went (? 2y ago), bartender ignored me for all of about 10-15 min and there were only 3 girls working.... at night. Open ld area was a spoiler too.

    at Shooters22, can't "shoot-her" though

Problem is, this place seems to offer the grind only routine, a la Johnny A's. but w/o the offensive bouncers. Can't think of a better location to keep out of sight by close to the popluation though! Perfect for a strip club, esp. if extras are being given.

VIP's seem to offer more extras and Brazilians... correlation?!

Shooters22 in Union has a decent amount of Brazilian dancers.

Since this whole immigration sweep across the U.S., your not going to find many off-the boat Brazilian beauties for awhile around here. I remember this time of Summer there would be so many fresh young Brazilian dancer's, couldnt speak a word of English but loved to have a good time!

The drought is definetly in full-force right now, its sad.

No mileage to be had, however, there is a lapdance room now. But, decent (some 8's) Brasiladas are to be found at Ragtime. Since Don died and Lucy took over she's trying to pickup the biz. I have heard that there has been some action in that room in the past year.

Titillations and The Hitching Post both have alot of Brazilians daytime. You are correct about clubs being lame. I have been going less and less, cuz I am so friggin bored after one drink. A total waste of time and energy. I have a better time staying home watching the Yankees.

shoot2thrill, What club's do they work days in? it's too damn expensive to drive to these clubs for nothing. It's real frustrating to go to some of clubs cause they are lame as hell nowadays.

    also local government

[ The pressure from INS and ABC right now has them holding tight on a conservative stance. It may be a while before the pressure is off and things go back to normal.[/QUOTE] Riverside, NJ, where many Brazilian strippers stay while working in SNJ, just passed law which fines landlords who rent to undocumented Brazilians.

Almost any night of the week (place opens at 4pm) you an find Brazilian dancers at "Pumps Plus" in Keansburg. Mind you, I am not recommending anything, but if your only criterion is nation of origin .... you have it here!

You would think the Brazilians would fly south in the winter cause they can't take the cold up here..... But they go down to Brazil in the summer cause down there its winter season ("in season").... sort of how Florida is 'in season' during our winter months when the heat isn't so unbearable. Although to them it's not an issue with heat cause a few Brazilians I know could live in an oven set to 350. But it's a matter of the nightlife and the parties which rock hardest during July and August. I think it's also soccer season.

The relations between the US and Brazil are notoriously bad. Probably has much to do with their military dictatorship they had till the late 80's..... the same dictatorship that planned and built their now succesful "renewable energy" infrastructure.
